Jon and Okor are working on developing hydroponics for another option in basic food production. These pictures show some of the work in progress. The fish ponds are constructed of cement block. Plants are then planted in the center of those cement blocks. Styrofoam flats contain small mesh baskets which contain dirt and plants that then float on top of the fish ponds.
